Everyday document work without the usual friction.

Merge PDFs into one organized file

Combine invoices, reports, forms or scanned pages in one pass. Files are merged in the order shown, giving you a single document that is easier to send, archive or print.

Split and organize selected pages

Enter a page range such as 1-3, 6, 9-11 to extract only the pages you need. You can also remove unwanted pages while preserving the rest of the document.

Convert between images and PDF

Create a PDF from multiple JPG or PNG images, or export each page of a PDF as a JPG. Image exports are bundled into one ZIP download for convenience.

Finish documents with useful details

Rotate pages, add page numbers or apply a text watermark. These small finishing tools help prepare documents for sharing, review and filing.

How to split a PDF into separate files

Splitting a PDF is useful when one document contains material that belongs apart — a bank statement you only want to share one month of, a scanned book you want as individual chapters, or a combined invoice file you need to send to different clients. This tool extracts the pages you choose into a new PDF, right in your browser.

  1. Open your PDF. Select the file you want to split.
  2. Pick the pages. Enter the pages or ranges to extract, for example 1-3, 6, 9-11. Everything else is left out of the new file.
  3. Extract and download. Save the new PDF containing only your chosen pages. The original file is not modified.

Tip: to divide a document into several parts, run the tool once per part — each run creates one new file from the pages you select.

Splitting a PDF to fit an email or upload limit

Email and application portals cap attachment sizes (Gmail's limit is 25 MB). This tool has no automatic split-by-size mode; instead, extract page ranges into parts — for example 1-20, then 21-40 — check each new file's size, and adjust the ranges until every part fits under the limit. The same trick undoes an accidental merge: extract the pages that belong together and save them as their own file.

Split PDF — frequently asked questions

How do I write a page range?

Use a hyphen for a continuous range and commas to separate selections: 1-3, 6, 9-11 extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 and 11. Page numbering starts at 1 for the first page of the document.

Can I extract pages in a different order?

The extracted pages keep their original order from the source document. If you need a custom order, extract the pages first and then merge the results in the order you want.

Does splitting reduce file quality?

No. Extracted pages are copied unchanged, so text and images keep their original quality.

What happens to the original PDF?

Nothing — splitting creates a brand-new file. Your original document stays exactly as it was on your device.

Can I split a scanned PDF?

Yes. Scanned pages are images inside the PDF, and they extract the same way as any other pages.
